1: Canada - Hong Kong
Depart from Canada to Hong Kong
Day 2: Hong Kong - Hanoi
Upon arrival in Hanoi, transfer to the hotel (Check in
time: 2PM). Rest of the day is free time to explore Hanoi.
Day 3: Hanoi - Halong Bay (B/L/D)
Pick up at hotel lobby and transfer to Ha Long City. Upon
arrival, embark on an overnight cruise and set sail on
a cruise through the limestone cliffs and emerald waters
of Ha Long Bay, taking in the spectacular scenery of this
UNESCO World Heritage site. Lunch is served as you cruise
by impressive rock formations with unusual names and shapes.
In the afternoon you will start to discover Ha Long Bay,
listed as a World Heritage of outstanding natural beauty,
known as “Dragon descending to the sea”. Depending
on each cruise’s itinerary of the day, you may visit
a beautiful cave, have some swimming. When the sun sets,
your boat will drop anchor for the night. You may attend
a cooking demonstration before having dinner. Accommodation
on-board the overnight cruise in Ha Long Bay.
Day 4: Halong Bay - Hanoi (B/L/-)
Early riser may join a Tai Chi session on the sundeck
(depending on each cruise’s programme) and enjoy
watching the sunrise in the Bay. Afterward your boat will
weave its way back to the pier. Disembarkation at around
10:45 hrs. Pick up at Tuan Chau pier and transfer back
to Hanoi.Orientation tour, incl .1hour cyclo ride navigating
Hanoi’s charming, colorful & lively Old Quarter,
known as the city’s historical centre.
Day 5: Hanoi - Hue (B/L/-)
Breakfast at the hotel, then check out and transfer to
Hanoi airport for the morning flight to Hue. Upon arrival
in Hue, meet and transfer to the hotel. Re-joined the
group and have lunch at restaurant and enjoy a half-day
city tour. Visit the Imperial Citadel, Thien Mu Pagoda,
a senic boat trip on the Perfume River, to Hue.
Day 6: Hue - Danang - Hoi An (B/L/-)
After breakfast, visit Tu Duc Royal Tomb. Each ruler of
the Imperial City built his own tomb during his reign
and today you will visit one of the most beautiful mausoleums.
Drive to Danang over the famous Hai Van Pass. Lunch at
a local restaurant. Continue to visit Cham Museum and
have a photo stop at the Marble Mountains. Arrive in Hoi
An, the town was known as the trading centre in Southeast
Asia fromt he 16th - 18th centuries. Overnight in Hoi
An.
Day 7: Hoi An (B/-/-)
Take a short boat ride across the river to a boat builder’s
yard and woodcarvers. You will also visit a pottery and
brick-making village. Return to the town for a discovery
tour on foot through Hoi An Ancient Town which has been
enlisted as a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage since 1999.
You will visit some of the historic merchant and community
houses, places of worship and the famous Japanese covered
bridge. In the afternoon, have free time for relaxation
or for further discovery of the ancient town on your own.

Day 8: Hoi An - Danang - Ho Chi Minh City
(B/L/-)
Morning stroll through the anicant town of Hoi An with
visit to the old house, Chinese community house and Japanese
Bridge. Continue to visit the Hoi An Silk Village and
lunch there. After, flight to Ho Chi Minh City, Free for
leisure for the rest of the day. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh
City
Day 9: Ho Chi Minh City - Cu Chi Tunnels - Ho Chi Minh
City - Siem Reap (B/L/D)
Morning drive to Cu Chi district (75 km from HCMC) and
visit the amazing complex of underground tunnels at Cu
Chi. There are more than 200 kilometres of underground
tunnels. You have the chance to crawl through this amazing
system of tunnels before returning to Ho Chi Minh City
for lunch. After lunch, have some free time before transfer
to Ho Chi Minh City airport for your flight to your next
destination. Arrive Siem Reap, meet and transfer to the
hotel. Dinner at the hotel.
Day 10: Siem Reap (B/L/-)
Drive off towards the Angkor Archeological Park. Start
by visiting the last capital of the Khmer Empire: Angkor
Thom, built in the 12th century and deserted most likely
during the 16th century. Inside its walls, visit: the
South Gate, Bayon Temple, Baphuon, Terrace of the Elephants,
Ta Prohm and the most famous Angkor Wat. Transfer back
to the hotel in the late afternoon.
Day 11: Siem Reap (B/L/-)
You will be driven to Soutr Nikum District (pronounced
So Nikum) which occupies a long stretch of shore on the
Tonle Sap Lake and is home to one of the largest communities
on the water, Kompong Khleang. Once you have finished
exploring Kompong Khleang, drive towards Beng Mealea.
Enjoy a homemade lunch at a local family house located
behind Beng Mealea. After lunch, take a digestive walk
on the red dirt road to a small atmospheric satellite
temple of Beng Mealea, named Prasat Chhrey, before exploring
the long-abandoned ruins of Beng Mealea (11th century),
still strangled by the overgrown jungle. Return to the
hotel after.
Day 12: Siem Reap (B/L/-)
This morning, see the real Siem Reap by scooter-like Honda
motorbike. Visit the local market, Les Artisans d’
Angkor, Rehash Trash and a 2 hours workshop to learn how
to use plastic bags to make your own creation. After lunch,
visit Sombai Liqueur. Discover the local taste of Siem
Reap through a wide range of home-made and artisan products
by trying 11 different flavours of liqueur (or as many
as you can handle!). It will be a pleasure for the eyes
and taste buds. Return to the hotel
Day 13: Siem Reap - Luang Prabang
Fly from Siem Reap to Luang Prabang. Upon arrival, you
will be met by your local guide in the arrivals hall who
will drive with you to the hotel and assist with check-in.
The remainder of the day is free at your leisure. Stay
three at the Villa Santi Hotel (4-star).
Day 14 Luang Prabang (B/L)
Today’s early rise will give you the opportunity
to participate in the early morning daily ritual of saffron-clad
monks with their black alms-giving bowls being given offerings
from the locals. Afterwards, return back to the hotel
for your breakfast. After a leisurely breakfast, enjoy
a full day city tour including visits to the former King’s
palace which is now the National Museum, the food market,
and Wat Mai. Take a drive outside of the town to see the
Kuang Si Waterfalls, including village visits for insight
into local traditions. Time is available to visit other
temples this day dependent on your interest. This evening,
climb up Mt. Phousi for a spectacular panorama of the
town of Luang Prabang. NOTE: Royal Palace is closed on
Tuesday.
Day 15 Luang Prabang (B/L/D)
Take a boat trip on the mighty Mekong River and visit
the mysterious Pak Ou Caves carved into towering lime-stone
cliffs along the riverbank. Inside the caves are thousands
of statues of Buddha. Continue down river to Ban Xang
Hai village, where the local residents create a unique
rice wine called lao lao, and in the afternoon return
to Luang Prabang for a short visit to traditional Lao
villages at Ban Xang Khong and Ban Xiang Lek. This evening,
enjoy a traditional Baci ceremony and dinner at a local
restaurant.
Day 16 Luang Prabang - Depart for Canada

After breakfast, meet your local guide in the hotel lobby
at the appointed time and then transfer to the airport
for your departure flight
