Day 1 Vancouver to Zagreb

Day 2 Arrive Zagreb
Embark on an off-the-beaten track discovery of Croatia. The capital city of Zagreb is your springboard to an enchanting journey, a land of diverse cultures and traditions. Evening Welcome Reception and evening orientation drive. hotel Westin Welcome reception

Day 3 Zagreb Sightseeing – Bled (2 Nights
)
Spend the morning exploring Zagreb with a Local Specialist before travelling through romantic landscapes to the lakeside resort town of Bled, where we'll stay the next two nights. Meal(s)Buffet Breakfast Hotel Park

Day 4 Bled Sightseeing

Sail on Lake Bled's crystal-clear waters to Bled Island to view its Church of the Assumption. Rest of the day explore on your terms, or join an Optional Experience to Slovenia's largest glacier lake, ascending Mt. Vogel by cable car for inspiring views. Meal(s) Buffet Breakfast

Day 5 Bled – Ljubljana – Opatija (2 Nights)

We leave the beauty of Bled behind for one of Europe's smallest capitals. Embark on an orientation tour of Ljubljana this morning, admiring its Old Town, bridges and Castle. We continue to the seaside resort of Opatija. Meal(s) BB

Day 6 Rovinj Excursion and Opatija Free Time

Croatian fishing port of Rovinj is our destination this morning. 'Dive Into Culture' as we stop to taste the world-famous and delicious Istrian white truffles. We'll join a Local Specialist to wander through the old town. We return to Opatija for free time. See the statuesque nymph and admire the belle-époque architecture. Savour seaside setting Mediterranean flavours as you 'Connect With Locals', traditional Be My Guest dinner with a local family in Opatija. Meal(s) BB, D

Day 7 Opatija – Plitvice

The extraordinary natural beauty of Plitvice takes centre stage today as we embark on a guided walking tour. Admire the cascade of spectacular waterfalls and crystal-clear waters reflecting green, grey and blue against the lush landscapes. Enjoy dinner at your hotel against this picture-perfect backdrop. Day 8 Plitvice – Trogir – Split (2 Nights)

Visit the walled island of Trogir. The stone town is connected to the mainland and the island of Ciovo by bridges. Leave the coast & journey to Split to join a Local Specialist for a sightseeing tour, including Diocletian's Palace, built for the emperor's retirement. Meal(s) BB

Day 9 Split Free Day or Optional Excursion to a Dalmatian Island

Delve into centuries of heritage on this free day in Split. Try a full-day Optional Experience to one of the Dalmatian Islands. Ascend the bell tower for views of terracotta roofs & white marble façades. Or savour the city's delicious cafés. Meals BB

Day 10 Split – Ston – Dubrovnik (2 Nights)

Admire the walled city of Ston, with dramatic views &fishing village atmosphere. Visit Europe's oldest salt pans. We continue to Dubrovnik, wander through the colourful lanes or maybe climb the medieval city walls. Meal BB

Day 11 Dubrovnik Sightseeing

Tread in the footsteps of Lord Byron and George Bernard Shaw. Join Local Specialist, & tour past the Rector's Palace, Onofrio's Fountain & Franciscan/Dominican monasteries, before free time. As our journey comes to an end, join your travel companions for a Farewell Dinner. Meal(s) BB, Farewell Dinner

Day 12 DUBROVNIK - EXCURSION TO MONTENEGRO
Dazzling natural surrounds are ours to enjoy today as we travel to the Republic of Montenegro, where we will meet a Local Specialist and head towards the mouth of the Bay of Kotor. Celebrate centuries of history in the charming town of Kotor, with its Venetian palaces and medieval churches. We return to Dubrovnik this evening and dine tonight at our hotel

Day 13 Depart Dubrovnik
We journey to into Bosnia-Herzegovina and stop at the magnificent Mostar Bridge. Hear the tales of this impressive bridge over the Neretva River and the bridge keepers who watched over it in Medieval times - giving Mostar its name. The 16th-century bridge, built by Sinan the great Ottoman architect, was destroyed during the war and has been rebuilt using age-old traditions. Later, We arrive in Sarajevo, whose rich religious and multicultural heritage has earned it the nickname, the Jerusalem of Europe. Its centuries-old religious history is reflected in its beautiful synagogues, mosques, and Orthodox and Catholic churches. Delving
into the depths below Sarajevo, we join a Local Specialist for an insider tour of the Bosnian war tunnel which allowed food, war supplies and humanitarian aid to come into the city, and people to get out. Hear war-time tales of bravery and tragedy. This evening, join your travel companions for dinner at your hotel. Meal(s) BB, D

DAY 14 SARAJEVO SIGHTSEEING AND FREE TIME
Join a Local Specialist for a guided walking tour of the city’s old town, past the largest mosque in the Balkans, the Eternal Flame
and the Sarajevo Roses that are dotted across the city as a stark reminder of the turmoil Sarajevo endured decades ago. During your
free time this afternoon perhaps ramble along Copper Street seeking treasures, or drink from the fountain of Sebilj to secure your return to Sarajevo. Meal(s): BB

DAY 15 DEPART SARAJEVO
Our time together comes to an end this morning after breakfast. Transfer to Sarajevo Airport Meal(s): BB
